Mr. Russell earned his law degree from Stanford University and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis. Prior to joining Doll Amir & Eley LLP in his Of Counsel capacity, Mr. Russell was a partner at a prominent Northern California law firm, where he managed high-stakes litigation and consistently secured favorable outcomes in complex cases. His practice includes representing individuals, corporations, and organizations in both state and federal courts across trial, arbitration, mediation, and appellate proceedings.

With a background as a successful general building contractor and real estate broker, Mr. Russell understands that legal challenges must often be addressed alongside the operational realities of his clients’ enterprises. His unique combination of practical business experience and legal expertise allows him to navigate complex property disputes, business conflicts, contract issues, and regulatory challenges while prioritizing his clients’ business objectives.

Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Russell enjoys spending time with his family, reading about ancient history, and engaging in advanced dog training, including agility, scent work, and obedience. Raised near Yosemite National Park, he is a passionate outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking and backpacking. He is also an active member of his community, serving as an officer in the county bar association, participating in his local Rotary club, and coaching youth soccer.
