Melissa Rapp litigates complex civil cases at both the state and federal level. She has experience in a variety of high stakes matters, including employment, copyright infringement, shareholder derivative claims, business disputes, and internal investigations. She represents clients from a wide range of industries, including entertainment, health care, media, and technology. Prior to joining Doll Amir & Eley, Ms. Rapp worked for multinational law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP and for a top Los Angeles boutique firm.

Ms. Rapp received her juris doctor from UCLA School of Law where she was active with the Ziffren Institute for Media, Entertainment, Technology & Sports Law. She earned her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, spending her junior year studying in England through Stanford’s program at the University of Oxford.

Prior to law school, Ms. Rapp worked in music and technology in various capacities. She enjoys songwriting and performing music in her spare time. Ms. Rapp currently serves on the Board of Directors for her local Stanford alumni group. She is also active as a UCLA School of Law alumni mentor, with UCLA Law Women LEAD, and as a member of Santa Barbara Women Lawyers.
