Chelsea L. Diaz has been with Doll Amir & Eley LLP since 2005. Over the years, she has assisted in litigating many of DAE’s biggest cases across a wide-range of practice areas, including insurance fraud, intellectual property and employment law.
In November 2010, Chelsea joined DAE’s financial services practice and has successfully defended numerous claims arising out of various consumer protection acts, such as the FDCPA, RFDCPA, FCRA, and CCRAA.
Ms. Diaz graduated cum laude and was elected Order of the Coif from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in May 2010. While attending Loyola, Ms. Diaz served as a member of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review editorial board and competed on the Willem C. Vis International Moot arbitration team in Hong Kong. She was also a member of the St. Thomas Moore Honor Society and a Public Interest Scholarship recipient. Ms. Diaz graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California, earning her B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Psychology and Law.
Previously, Ms. Diaz worked with Bet Tzedek, a non‐profit organization providing legal services to low‐income populations and Cervantes, Aguilar‐Alvarez & Sainz, S.C., a Mexico City law firm serving clients throughout Mexico and across the globe.
Ms. Diaz has lived in Mexico City, Mexico and Porto Alegre, Brazil, and absolutely loves experiencing new cultures – and new challenges.
