Jason Baim advocates for clients at every step of litigation, including trial and appeal. His 30-year career spans state and federal litigation matters involving claims of fraud, breach of contract, unfair business practices, torts, employment disputes, securities/shareholder disputes, and other complex commercial and health care matters and big business disputes.
Jason offers broad-based commercial litigation and trial experience in state and federal courts. He represents individuals, small companies, and large national and international corporations in complex business disputes involving tens to hundreds of millions of dollars.
One recent focus is on California’s health care sector. Jason represents a range of health care clients, including medical groups, hospitals, independent practice associations, and health care systems in a variety of high-stakes matters.
Earning a reputation as a perfectionist in oral arguments and written briefs, Jason navigates clients through pre-litigation counseling to avoid a dispute. He approaches early-stage litigation strategically and guides clients through trial or arbitration to a successful result.
Jason is a Southern California native and earned his B.A. from UCLA and is a graduate of the USC Gould School of Law. Prior to joining Doll Amir & Eley, LLP, Jason practiced law at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, where he defended boards of directors, and individual officers and directors in securities actions, among other commercial litigation matters.
